Gaston came into us as a stray so we know very little about him. He is a bouncy boy with plenty of energy. He loves to play with and happily entertains himself in his kennel throwing his toys around. It would appear that Gaston was able to get his own way a lot in the past so when he first arrived he could be a bit demanding. Gaston’s main kennel carer has worked wonders with him using positive training to teach him that he doesn’t have to shout to get what he wants. Although Gaston knows all his basic commands very well, he hadn’t had much training with regards to walking on a lead, so staff have been working on this also, and he now is very well behaved out walking, and enjoys being on a long line walking with his best friend, fellow staffy Maisie. Gaston really is a lovely boy who just needs his chance to shine in a new home.
What Gaston needs from his Forever Home
Because of the limited history we have on Gaston, he is looking for an adult only home with no other pets. He would benefit from attending training classes to help teach him some doggy etiquette and to improve his life skills to help him settle in a home environment again.
