Forever Home Friday 🐾❤️

Many of you will remember Winston who was a stray at the Churchill Hospital for a few years. Thankfully, several people at the hospital took him under their wing to ensure he had food and water. 🥰

We were approached and asked if we could offer this handsome chap a space here at the sanctuary and of course, we said yes!! 😻

Within the space of a few weeks, he's gone from living on the streets to living a life of luxury with his new family. ❤️

Here’s our recent update:

He’s doing well. He is the most affectionate boy and is always purring!

He’s not overly adventurous and still likes the safety of his corner when we aren’t around but it’s all such a big transition for him.

Please meet the adorable mother-and-daughter duo Maple & Marley ❤️

Maple came into our care with four tiny two-week-old kittens. She instantly went out to one of our wonderful foster carers where she and her kittens could receive the one-to-one care she deserved. 💖

Three of her kittens have since flown the nest. Marley is really close to her mum and so we have decided it would be lovely for them to find their forever home together. 🥰

Maple originally came from a large multi-cat household so we will be looking for a home without other animals so that the limelight can be purely on them. 🥰

They are wonderful in so many ways, Maple adores her humans and just wants to be fussed. Marley is your typical kitten who loves to get up to normal kitten antics and that's when you see Maple’s kitten-like play come into force. ❤️

They are looking for the following type of home 🏡
👤 Can live with children
🐈 Cannot live with cats
🐶 Cannot live with dogs
🏡 Needs outdoor access

Welcome to the world little ones 💖

Many of you will remember the group of 15 cats we took in earlier this year. Despite none of them being neutered, we were thankful that only one was pregnant!! 🙏

Esme went off to her wonderful foster home where she was able to have all the love and attention she needed and some much-needed quiet time before becoming a mummy!! 🍼

We are pleased to say that on Tuesday Esme successfully gave birth to five healthy kittens and both Esme & the kits are doing well. 🥰

Thank you so much to her foster family for being there to help Esme. ❤️

Mittens arrived in our care after her human companion became unwell. Whilst it was an incredibly hard decision to make it was the best decision for all given the circumstances. 💔

This placid little lady is just adorable and loves nothing more than human companionship. 😻

Mittens can often be found in her little box bed watching the world go by. She would make the perfect sofa companion. 🥰

She would make the perfect companion for a quiet home where she can have lots of fuss and attention just as she deserves! 🐾

We currently have a few big dogs at the sanctuary waiting for their forever homes. 💖

They are all lovely in their own way, all are clearly gorgeous and have bags of personality but they all have a common issue......they are big! 🐾

Those lovely long legs are not helping them in the rehoming department. 😢😢😢

Small dogs come and go very quickly at the sanctuary which we are not complaining about but we need some love for the big dogs too! 🐶

Some of these dogs have had hardly any applications if any. Please share far and wide to get these magnificent dogs into homes! 🙏

The newest girlie on the block! 💖

Nala is the newest member of the O.A.S family and she would love to find her forever home! 🥰

Poor Nala has had a terrible start to her young life. Left abandoned in a property with no food or water she was thankfully saved from starvation but had lost a huge amount of weight and was painfully thin. 😭

Luckily Nala is now steadily gaining weight and is showing herself to be an amazing dog. She loves to learn and would thrive in a home with adopters who can teach her how to be the best pup she can be. 💖

Do you have the following type of home 🏡

✅️ A cat-free home
✅️ A private secure garden with a minimum of 6ft fencing.
✅️ Nala could potentially live with another dog pending successful meets at the sanctuary. Resident dogs will need to be happy to share their home with a young excitable dog.

Foster Homes Needed 💖

With the holiday season starting and with kitten season appearing to be all year round, we are currently looking to increase our foster network ❤️

Fostering is so rewarding but at the same time, it can be emotionally difficult, especially when they are ready to fly the nest. 😍

The sanctuary will provide everything they need whilst in your care. 🐾

We are looking for someone who can offer the following:

✅ Pet-free home or a spare room
✅ Cat-savvy children
✅ A safe space within the home
✅ Someone who will be around most of the day
✅ Previous fostering experience would be great but not essential.

All foster carers must be able to drive to the sanctuary and in the event of an emergency travel to The Hart Veterinary Centre in Bicester & Aylesbury
