BreedStaffordshire Bull Terrier

About PrincePrince has such a great character. He is such a loving boy once he gets to know you, and likes nothing more than to have a cuddle with his carers and play with his squeaky toys and tennis balls in the yard. Prince takes a laid-back approach to life and exercise, and is often curled up in his bed or finding a patch of sunshine to sit in.

Type of homePrince is a very nervous dog until he gets to know you, so potential adopters would have to be willing to come up and visit him several times over an extended period to gain his trust before taking him home. Prince would be more than happy to be the only dog in the home; he doesn't like male dogs, however, he has previously been kennelled with a female dog so could potentially be matched to an older calm female friend. This would need to be a slow and controlled introduction at the sanctuary over several visits.

Due to his nervous nature Prince would need to live in a home with no children and no cats. New owners must be aware that Prince will need plenty of time and patience to settle into home life as he has been with us in kennels for some time now.
