Sponsoring A Rescue

Why Sponsor a Rescue?

Whilst many of the rescues arriving at the Sanctuary find new homes relatively quickly, the Sanctuary also cares for some residents for the rest of their lives. This could be for a number of reasons; they take life long medication, they are perceived as being too old or past experiences may mean they simply are not suited to a home environment.

By Sponsoring any of our animals you will ensure that all our long stay residents have a roof over their heads, food in their belly and love in their hearts. Do something amazing for Oxfordshire's abandoned animals.

How to Sponsor

If you would like to become an official OAS Rescue Sponsor please DOWNLOAD OUR SPONSORSHIP FORM and send it to the address shown or scan and email it back to us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .

You can now also Sponsor a rescue for someone else too, it's a great gift for any pet-loving friend.

Starting from £4 a month you can show a rescue they are loved today and you will receive a photo certificate, information about your chosen sponsor, a window sticker, a fridge magnet and a few more OAS goodies! You also get two updates a year from all our Sponsors, so you can hear how you're making a differece to a rescues' life!

Our Sponsor Animals

Bouncer

Bouncer was sadly mistreated as a puppy and he stil to this day finds it hard to trust strangers. Since first arriving at the Sanctaury Bouncer is really starting to enjoy his walks with his own fan club of dog walkers and staff. By Sponsoring Bouncer you will help ensure that there is always a friendly face ready to greet him with love and tasty treats everyday.

Caesar

Sadly Caesar was not socialised with other animals when he was young and it has seriously affected his later years in life. Although he loves people, he can not be left alone with any other animal. By sponsoring Caesar you will help to provide him with the time he needs to learn essential socialisation training.

Maisey

Maisey is often over looked due to the fact she has a skin conditions. This is sad because she really loves her cuddles and just needs someone to love her for who she is. She has to say goodbye to lots of the friends she makes at OAS who have now gone to their forever homes. Please sponsor Maisey to give her the boost she needs to find her new family.

Reggie

Reggie is a Great Dane X, he is a large breed dog who has never lived in a homely environment. We hope to slowly reintroduce Reggie to life outside of kennels at a rate that Reggie is comfortable with. Please help OAS to care for him until that day comes by becoming Reggie’s sponsor. We hope together we will one day find that special owner to take Reggie home.
