July has come and gone, and it has been an incredibly busy month at the sanctuary!
With record-breaking levels of animals being rehomed, thanks to numerous animal hoarding rescues and an unprecedented number of pregnant cats, our team has been working tirelessly.
Here’s a heartwarming update on the 71 pets who have found their forever homes this month.
A total of 53 cats and kittens, 9 dogs, and 9 rabbits have been rehomed.
🐱 A trio of kittens were the first to find new homes at the start of the month. These were soon followed by Sidney and Rainbow, two young cats.
In the following days and weeks, many more felines found their forever homes, including Cali, Eloise, Roberta, Squeak, River, Shadow, Neo, Grasshopper, Ladybird, Tamar, Trent, Isis, Aslan, Coral, Trinity, Caterpillar, Derek, Keegan, Griffin, Phoenix, Shayde, Bright, Kelly, Marlin, Spud, Bella, Billie, Twix, Penelope, Coco, Shilton, Mikey, Tide, Albus, Binx, another Cali, and Connor.
🐰 Among the rabbits, Benji was the first to hop home in July, followed by Peanut and Dumbo, Laney & Blue, Prince, Toby, Baxter, and Blossom.
🐶 In the canine corner, Woody the Chihuahua was the first to leave, with Ollie the Poodle crossbreed going home a few days later. Joey and Sunshine followed later that week, and Dexter, Peaches, Poppy, and Berry wrapped up an exhausting but immensely satisfying month.
The demands on our resources are as high as ever, but we couldn’t do this without our incredibly generous and loyal supporters.
Your donations, fostering and adoptions enable us to help as many animals as we can, and for that, we are profoundly grateful.
Thank you! 🙏❤️
