Adoption Update – February 2025

🥶 A Chilly Start to February, but Warmer Hearts All Around ❤️

The frosty mornings and crisp February air might have us reaching for our scarves, but the lighter days and brighter afternoons are a welcome sign that spring is just around the corner. And what better way to warm up than with the heartening news of so many animals finding their forever homes?

The incredible rate of adoptions shows no sign of slowing down—an astonishing 59 animals have now embarked on their next chapter, just in time to enjoy extra cuddles and love this Valentine’s season.

🐱 44 Cats Off to New Adventures

The first to leave our cattery this year were an adorable pair of kittens we called Tom & Jerry (though their new family has given them fresh names to match their new lives!).

They were soon followed by a long list of feline friends, each one off to a loving home of their own:

Savannah, Jerry & Murphy, Luna, Tabitha, Lottie, Chesney, Tilly, Sabre, Espresso, Martha, Raskit, Dizee & Rascal, Oliver, Paprika & Sage, Winnie & Willow, Rudi, Prancer, Gerry & Oliver, Scirocco, Bridget, Suzie, Autumn, Oki & Scooter, Lulu & Nala, Jones*, Mrs McFloofy, Cadiz, Clara, Madrid, Splodge & Perry, Lola & Milo, and finally, Teddy & Domino.

*A special mention to our incredible fosterer who cared for Jones—your dedication truly made a difference!

🐰 Hopping Off to New Homes

Not to be left out, Maddie and Jacob, two gorgeous bunnies, also found their forever homes. Jacob’s new owner is lovingly bonding him with a companion, while Maddie was paired with her new partner right here at the sanctuary before heading home.

🐶 13 Dogs Start Their New Lives

The first pup to find a home in January was Luca, a spirited Jack Russell who wasted no time in settling in. He was soon followed by 12 more lucky dogs, each one starting a new adventure with their forever families: Ace, Polly, Jeff, Zoey, Daisy, Harrison, Teddy, Bear (a happy coincidence of names!), Penny, and Dobby.

💙 Thank You to Our Amazing Supporters

Every single adoption is a testament to the kindness and generosity of those who choose to adopt, donate, and support our work. Thank you to our wonderful adopters for opening your hearts and homes to these incredible animals.

And to our dedicated donors, your generosity allows us to keep doing what we do—giving these animals the second chances they so deserve.

🌟 A Tribute to Our Animal Care Team

Finally, we want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to our incredible animal care team and managers, who worked tirelessly over the Christmas period, sacrificing time with their own loved ones to make sure every animal in our care was warm, fed, and loved.

Their commitment doesn’t go unnoticed—while many enjoyed festive breaks, they were here, doing what they do best. It takes a truly special kind of person to do this work, and we never take it for granted.

As February unfolds, we look forward to seeing even more happy endings and heartwarming stories. Thank you for being part of this journey with us!
