It’s hard to believe we’re already halfway through 2024!
The year has flown by, filled with exciting developments, especially at our Sanctuary, where more animals are finding homes than ever before.
June was a particularly successful month, with no fewer than 50 animals going to their forever homes.
38 cats and kittens, including Esme and her kittens, as well as Pickle and her adorable brood, found loving families.
Many other cats, such as Coco, Charcoal, Amber, Honey, Nala, Simba, Arla, Garfield, and Harley, also departed the sanctuary for new homes.
Kilburn and Diddy, who had spent a long time in a boarding cattery before coming to us, are now happily settled in a new environment.
Sky, who arrived with a tummy issue that took some time to resolve, is also thriving in a home away from the cattery.
In our rabbit section, Goldie and Kurt, a bonded pair, are hopping with delight in their new home environment.
Even our senior dog, Max, has found a unique and exciting place to live. Adopted by someone who lives at a wildlife park, Max now enjoys his golden years amongst various other animals. Check out our social media pages for the whole story and photos.
Other dogs, such as Minion the Terrier, Sparky the Pomeranian, and Biscuit the Corgi, are settling in wonderfully as we write this update.
As we move into July, the demands on our resources and team remain as high as ever, starting this month with the same momentum as June.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone for their support, especially those who have adopted from us.
We hope our ex-residents bring you as much joy as they did during their time with us.
