Here are some photos of the 35 animals adopted in March.
March saw us rehome 35 animals, including Sika, a spaniel who was bred to be a working dog, but sadly had deformed limbs, so the owner asked us for help. She had only ever lived with other dogs, so needed lots of work from our dog team to earn her trust and to understand life as a pet. After some veterinary assessments and treatment, she was successfully rehomed.
Three elderly cats (all over 15) were adopted to lovely homes too. These adoptions are particularly pleasing.
Riley the rabbit, who had been with us for a long time, was also adopted, having come through some medical issues.
Among those adopted in March were five other cats who came to us from another charity. All needed ‘the full works’ in terms of basic medical treatment. They are now settling into their new homes and will have a much better life, thanks to the amazing support we receive.
Thanks to all our donors and supporters for helping us to find their forever homes.
