Within moments of arrival from the pound he became a staff favourite as the new kid on the block, and has been receiving never ending cuddles ever since.
Mason previously lived with a female dog and has proven that he is somewhat of a heart-throb with the ladies here. He would be fine to live with a calm female dog pending controlled introductions here at OAS.
Although once he knows you he is incredibly affectionate and wants to be forever by your side, Mason is a very anxious boy in situations where he is unsure.
Unfortunately we do not know his full background, but he is very wary of strangers and only shows small signals to show his anxieties. Mason is currently having sessions with our behaviourist to try and help him feel more comfortable.
What Mason Needs from his Forever Home
Mason is looking for a loving new home where he can get plenty of love and attention. He would benefit from living in a home where he isn’t left for long periods of time as he isn’t overly keen on being on his own.
An active household would suit him well, but he certainly likes him home comforts and will languish on the sofa in the staff room when he can!
Potential adopters will need to be prepared to spend several visits here getting to know him. He would need to meet all members of the family living in the home. Adopters must attend at least one of Mason’s training sessions prior to adoption and be prepared to continue them post adoption.
Want to meet MASON?
We’d love to introduce you to him!
