Zuni came to us through no fault of his own. He is a big boy, and just loves the company of people. He can come across as a little timid at first, but he makes friends with people easily. As he has settled into routine, his character is shining through, and he is such a funny and lovable dog.
Sadly Zuni had to have an operation to stabilise his Cruciate ligament last year and has since had to have the operation re-done here as the implant had failed. The operation was a success and his knee is now stable. We have been continuing physio sessions with him to help him to build up muscle and strength in the leg to enable him to walk comfortably.
Despite his knee needing physio, Zuni loves his sessions, and is very good at the different physio tasks. Zuni is a playful boy and loves to skip around the yard with you. He craves human company, so would suit a home where he isn’t left for long periods of time on his own.
What Zuni Needs from his Forever Home
Zuni has a lovely temperament and could join a family with teenagers. He is looking to be the only pet in the home as he does like to have all the attention on him.
Potential adopters will need to be prepared to continue doing physio exercises with him in the home, and that his exercise must be limited and built up gradually over time.

We’d love to introduce you to him!
