Mittens arrived in our care after her human companion became unwell. Whilst it was an incredibly hard decision to make it was the best decision for all given the circumstances. 💔

This placid little lady is just adorable and loves nothing more than human companionship. 😻

Mittens can often be found in her little box bed watching the world go by. She would make the perfect sofa companion. 🥰

She would make the perfect companion for a quiet home where she can have lots of fuss and attention just as she deserves! 🐾

Mittens is looking for the following type of Home 🏡
👤 Can live with children aged 10+
🐈 Cannot live with cats
🐶 Cannot live with dogs
🏡 Needs outdoor access

We currently have a few big dogs at the sanctuary waiting for their forever homes. 💖

They are all lovely in their own way, all are clearly gorgeous and have bags of personality but they all have a common issue......they are big! 🐾

Those lovely long legs are not helping them in the rehoming department. 😢😢😢

Small dogs come and go very quickly at the sanctuary which we are not complaining about but we need some love for the big dogs too! 🐶

Some of these dogs have had hardly any applications if any. Please share far and wide to get these magnificent dogs into homes! 🙏

The newest girlie on the block! 💖

Nala is the newest member of the O.A.S family and she would love to find her forever home! 🥰

Poor Nala has had a terrible start to her young life. Left abandoned in a property with no food or water she was thankfully saved from starvation but had lost a huge amount of weight and was painfully thin. 😭

Luckily Nala is now steadily gaining weight and is showing herself to be an amazing dog. She loves to learn and would thrive in a home with adopters who can teach her how to be the best pup she can be. 💖

Do you have the following type of home 🏡
✅️ A child-free home
✅️ A cat-free home
✅️ A private secure garden with a minimum of 6ft fencing.
✅️ Nala could potentially live with another dog pending successful meets at the sanctuary. Resident dogs will need to be happy to share their home with a young excitable dog.

Foster Homes Needed 💖

With the holiday season starting and with kitten season appearing to be all year round, we are currently looking to increase our foster network ❤️

Fostering is so rewarding but at the same time, it can be emotionally difficult, especially when they are ready to fly the nest. 😍

The sanctuary will provide everything they need whilst in your care. 🐾

We are looking for someone who can offer the following:

✅ Pet-free home or a spare room
✅ Cat-savvy children
✅ A safe space within the home
✅ Someone who will be around most of the day
✅ Previous fostering experience would be great but not essential.

All foster carers must be able to drive to the sanctuary and in the event of an emergency travel to The Hart Veterinary Centre in Bicester & Aylesbury

Sunday Success Story ❤️

Chloe & Sugar arrived at the sanctuary last year after their family wasn't able to financially support them anymore. 💔

Sadly, both girls had calicivirus and both needed extensive dentals. We knew this would make them harder to rehome so we packed their little bags and off they went to one of our wonderful foster families. ❤️

After a few months, their luck changed and they finally received an adoption request!! We were over the moon as the family sounded perfect!! They met Chloe & Sugar and instantly fell in love with them!!

They've been in their new home for a few months now and here’s their latest update:

The girls have completely settled in now, they love playing, especially with their toy mice, a firm favourite with both of them. The girls are really playful and enjoy zooming around the house. 😻

They are very loyal companions and are never far from our sides when we are at home, it’s like having a furry shadow. They love nothing more than curling up on our laps for a cuddle. 💖

We absolutely adore the girls and they are so full of personality and never fail to make us smile. It is a privilege to have given them a loving home. 🥰

They really are as yummy as the real Lotus Biscoff!! 😍

Three-year-old Lotus & two-year-old Biscoff came into our care through no fault of their own. Sadly, their human sibling was severely allergic so their family had to make the heart-wrenching decision to ask for help. 💔

They are adorable and love fuss and attention. Biscoff instantly settled in from day one where she was lapping up all the attention possible. Lotus on the other hand found the transition quite stressful but it’s safe to say she’s settling in well now. 💗

They are both incredibly loving and deserve to find their new forever home.

Welcome to Kernow Coco ❤️

Coco joined the sanctuary a few weeks ago after her human companion became too poorly to care for her. 💔

At the grand age of fifteen years young, Coco had multiple health issues. Having been checked by our vets it was clear that she may not have long left. 🥺

Every animal deserves their chance to shine though!! And we knew just the people to call!! 💖

Many of you will remember the wonderful Debbi & Trev who welcome palliative dogs into their home in Cornwall to live their days out surrounded by unconditional love. 🥰

We made contact with Debbi & Trev and of course, they said YES!! ❤️

Coco departed the sanctuary on Wednesday morning with Dee & Adam as her chauffeurs. 🐾

Good luck Coco enjoy all the extra attention, we are so pleased Debbi & Trev were able to open their hearts and home to you!! You've certainly fallen on your paws. 💖

Finally, thank you so much to Debbi & Trev, you are both such amazing people!! We need more people like you in the world!! We are forever grateful 💚💚
