Coronavirus announcement

Updated 11th June 2020.

We are still closed to all visitors despite certain restrictions being lifted in June.

We wanted to clarify the situation given the recent news about Zoos and other animal attractions re-opening. We are not a visitor attraction and it’s not possible to ensure visitor and staff safety with respect to social distancing on our site.

Protecting our staff is our top priority, so they are able to work safely and comfortably, to look after the animals. Therefore, allowing access to visitors will not be permitted until it is safe to do so.

Adoptions:
All adoptions are being managed by appointments only.
If you are thinking of adopting a pet, please use the ‘apply now’ button on each animals’ page. We will contact you and explain how the adoption process works at the moment and may be able to arrange an appointment. We’re sorry but we cannot process any applications for animals other than those shown on our website. More details here.

Donating food and bedding:
If you are donating items, please leave them by our entrance gate in the wooden shed.
We will collect them during the day. Thank you.

Please check this page for updates.

Thank you and take care.
