Cats & Kittens – No (we may have other cats or kittens here that have not yet been uploaded to the website, contact us for more info)
You must visit us in order to view and reserve kittens.
Please note that kittens can be adopted from 8 weeks old, but they will not be neutered or vaccinated, so you’ll need to arrange this with your vet.
To be added to the kitten waiting list, please complete our form by clicking on the link below.
https://
You’re not committing to adoption by doing this, but if the cattery team thinks you’re suitable, they will contact you when the next litter is available to view.
Please bear in mind that once we have a litter available for you to meet, you may be the first to see the litter or the last, i.e. others may have chosen one or more by the time you meet them. Kittens cannot be reserved before a meeting.
We try to avoid people choosing them on the basis of their appearance. To us, they are all beautiful and in need of a loving home, regardless of their looks.
Once you have reserved an animal, they will be checked by our vets to ensure they go home happy and healthy.
When you reserve an animal, our staff will let you know when the vet check takes place (normally a Tuesday).
We ask you to call us after 2 pm on the day of the vet check to find out if they have been passed the health check, then we can arrange a collection time.
This can be from the day after the vet check.
So, it can sometimes be a few days from your first visit if you are adopting a cat or rabbit but for dogs, the process can take a few weeks.
Not any more.
We’ve been fortunate enough to have so much bedding donated to us, we have filled all available storage spaces and have enough for over a year.
We have also invested in laundry equipment over the past few years and as a result, we reuse 90% of our bedding which is much better for the environment and also saves money on waste costs.
We do! Thanks for considering our animals!
But please read and check this page carefully before you make the trip to us to donate:

If you don’t have your own transport, we’re sorry but we are unable to collect items.
You can drop off items at our shops – oxfordshireanimalsanctuary.org.uk/contact/
Please contact your nearest shop to ask if they can take your items.
Thank you very much for thinking of donating to us.

Your generosity helps keep our animals safe, healthy & warm.
We rely solely on generous people like you to make a difference to our animals’ happiness and welfare.
The best way to give to Oxfordshire Animal Sanctuary is through donations or sponsorship (the deals we have with our suppliers mean we can make your money go further), but we also appreciate gifts.
This can be:
- Food & Bedding
- Bringing in unwanted items to our charity shops
- Give as you Live – Shop Online and we get cash back at no cost to you!
- Easy Fundraising – You shop online – The brands donate to OAS – it costs you nothing!
- Bring in used postage stamps to the Sanctuary or shops
Thank you for thinking of us in this way.

We do have goats here. They are our sponsor animals and are not available for rehoming.
Unfortunately, we don’t have enough space for any more farm animals on our site.
We cannot take in animals immediately or at short notice because we manage a waiting list for animals coming into us.
Please click the link below to find the relevant form for your pet.
This helps us understand their needs and whether we can provide the right level of care for them at the Sanctuary.

We’re sorry but we cannot arrange group / corporate volunteering days.
We are fortunate enough to have lots of volunteers here, and they complement our amazing staff on a daily basis, so our animals always receive the care they need.
