Harvey – Thriving 2 Months After Adoption

Some of you may remember little Harvey who was with us earlier this year. His new family sent us a lovely update this week.

Hi OAS,

My partner and I adopted Harvey a couple of months ago and thought you might like an update of how he’s getting on and some pictures!
He immediately settled into our home (jumping straight onto the sofa as soon as he got through the door!) and is such a loving and fun dog.  We’ve been carrying on his training so as well as the previously learnt sit, touch and wait (thanks Justin!), Harvey can now lie down and roll over.  His recall is also coming along excellently, so much so that we are now able to let him walk off-lead.  He has been socialising with other dogs and going on group walks so he’s not quite so barky when walking anymore! He still loves his tennis balls (see picture below) and also loves helping us take socks out of the washing machine (before hiding them around the house)!
Thank you so much to all the staff at the OAS for introducing us to Harvey and for being so helpful and making the adoption procedure so easy.  I would highly recommend you guys to anyone who was thinking of getting a rescue animal!
Best wishes,
Emma, Tom and Harvey
