Thank you 💖🐰🐶🐈

A massive shoutout to our wonderful fundraising team who gave up their free time to have a stall at the Chalgrove Festival on the 5th of May. 😻

Even though the cold wind was biting, the team showed incredible resilience and determination, coming together to raise a remarkable £823. Their efforts are truly commendable! 👏🤩

To raise the funds they sold various animal-related items and some wonderful garden plants. To say they were a hit with supporters is an understatement. 😍

Thank you so much to all who supported our stall and to those who popped in to say hi, your support means the world to us! 💖

Finally, thanks again to our fabulous fundraising team! We are so lucky to have such a wonderful bunch of dedicated people. 🙌😻

Good things come to those who wait ❤️

We are pleased to say that after nearly four months in our care, Stella has finally found her forever home. 💖

Whilst she waited much longer than most of the cats in our care, the wait was worth it when the perfect home came along. 😻

We are over the moon for this beautiful lady who can live the rest of her days out in a home where she will be loved and will have access to all the soft furnishing that her heart desires. 😻

Thank you so much to our team and Louise who temporarily fostered her for giving her all the love she deserved whilst in our care. ❤️

✅ No experience needed – full training provided
📅 We need help throughout the week, especially from Wednesday to Friday

You are safe now little one ❤️

Earlier today, we were called by a kind member of the public who had noticed a stray cat hanging around some local shops for around a month. 💔

Thankfully, members of the public had been feeding her and she has made the most of having lots of cuddles with some students who live nearby. ❤️

The good news is, that she is microchipped but sadly, no response has been received from recent vet calls. 😢

She is now in our care and appears to be setting in well. We have tried contacting the owner in the hope that they respond. If not then this little sweetheart will be looking for a home to call her. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who has cared for this little one over the past month. 😍

Last week we were asked to help after a mother and her kittens had been disturbed and separated after only giving birth to them a few hours before. 💔

The finder who was trying to do a good deed posted on a local Facebook page that they had a stray cat in their garden and had been hanging around for a few weeks. Shortly after the post had gone up someone thought the cat was theirs as they had similar markings, they went to the finder to collect the cat and ended up taking her home. 💔

Shortly afterwards the finder then found the kittens and put two and two together, and assumed they belonged to the stray cat. Who was no longer with them. 😢

Thankfully, they contacted Little Paws - Woodcote and they managed to make contact with the people to say what had happened. It transpired that the cat wasn't theirs but looked very similar. Thankfully, they were able to reunite mum and kittens. ❤️ 👏

Then we played our part in helping this tiny family, we offered space as mummy cat was completely overwhelmed by the traumatic event and of course, we stepped up and offered her a space. 🥰

A week on and we are pleased to say that Hiccup and her three little kittens are doing very well. The most important thing Hiccup needed was time and space, she needed to be left to decompress and rebound with her kittens and so we did just that! 😻

We took the hands-off approach and watched closely from a distance to ensure that Hiccup was feeding her little kittens. After all she has been through, she’s a great mum and we are so incredibly proud of her. 💖

Thanks to the efforts of all involved, this family of four are now safe and will only know love going forward. ❤️

I might not be a wizard with a big grey beard like my name suggests but all the gang here think I'm absolutely magic! It's like I'm famous! 🧙‍♂️

I may be a little unusual looking but I think that adds to my character. 😍

Another day another stray or two plus 9 kittens 💔

Earlier this week we were asked to help two mums who had been found in a garden along with their 9 kittens. ☹️

Sadly, no one has come forward for them and typically they aren't microchipped either. ☹️

Alicent & Rhaenyra are co-parenting and appear to have mastered the technique very well. They have done a wonderful job and all the kittens appear healthy. ❤️

This little family would like nothing more than a foster family to call their own. 🙏

Fostering is so rewarding but at the same time, it can be emotionally difficult, especially when they are ready to fly the nest. 😍

Duties will include:
🐈 Being there to support her through labour
🐈 Following a socialisation plan
🐈 Litter training
🐈 Weaning the kittens
🐈 Giving oral worming medication every two weeks
🐈 Giving lots of cuddles

The sanctuary will provide everything they need whilst in your care. 🐾

We are looking for someone who can offer the following:

✅ Pet-free home or a spare room
✅ Cat-savvy children
✅ A safe space within the home
✅ Someone who will be around most of the day
✅ Previous fostering experience of pregnant cats would be great but not essential.

All foster carers must be able to drive to the sanctuary and in the event of an emergency travel to The Hart Veterinary Centre in Bicester & Aylesbury

Amy came into our care because she struggled to get along with her feline companion. 💔

It was a difficult decision for their human family to make, one they never wanted to face, but ultimately, it was done out of love for both cats’ well-being. 🐈🐈‍⬛

When you first meet Amy, she may be hidden under her cosy blanket. She’s found the transition to cattery quite stressful but we know from her human companion that she loves nothing more than having fuss and attention. 😻

Equally, she loves her toys and still has that kitten-like energy. Being only a year old, she likes to keep busy but also has those calm cuddly moments. ❤️

It’s always difficult with cats who don’t show themselves very well and we understand it’s difficult for an adopter to see past the scared cat in front of them. But we can honestly say you won’t regret giving her the chance to shine. 💖

Eight-year-old Lulu came to us after his beloved human faced the deeply emotional decision to find him a new home. 😭

Unfortunately, poor Lulu became the target of a local tomcat, who would constantly attack him. Consequently, for his protection, Lulu had to stay inside. This made both Lulu and his human very sad so here we are trying to find him a new home. 💔

Lulu is a sweet lad who has settled into the cattery life very well. He is starting to enjoy socialising with the team. 😍

We’ve been told he likes to be in the limelight! If you are looking for your very own sofa buddy, then Lulu is the one for you. The best bit is that he won’t hog the remote control!! 😂
