Thank you very much to everyone from Nielsen who volunteered at OAS today.
In the morning, they walked lots of dogs (see picture of Bracken being fussed in our exercise area). In the afternoon, they cleared lots of nettles and brambles and mowed the lawns of some dog runs. Before they left, they spent some time in the cattery and met our diabetic cat Ted and little Tommy.
They all worked very hard and we cannot thank them enough for being such a great group, we hope to see you again next year. – Read more about Nielsen here.
We can arrange corporate volunteer days for a maximum of 10 people!
The day is great for team building, employee engagement and morale. A fun day outside consisting of dog walking in the morning and some light gardening and/or maintenance in the afternoon, plus a little cat cuddling (technical term is cat socialising!)
