Thank you very much to all of our wonderful supporters for coming to our Annual Open Day 2016. Almost 700 of you came to show your support for our rescues and together we raised an astonishing £9,569.26!
We would like to thank Pam St. Clement for being our special guest and to those of you who donated so generously to have your picture taken with this EastEnders superstar.
The day would not have been possible without the support from the all our volunteers helping in the tea and cakes tent, on our barbecue and on all the other stalls and games. It was a great team effort so thank you all for dedicating your time, effort and goodwill to us. Also a huge thank you to everyone who donated bottles, cakes and prizes for our raffle and to those of you who helped us to sell raffle tickets before and during the event.
A big thank you to all the companies that hosted a stand, your support and donations taken on the day were greatly appreciated. Thank you Hart Vets for providing 24/7 support to our animals, you give us peace of mind that you will always do what is best for each and every rescue in our care. Thank you to Wheatley Birds of Prey, everyone had great time learning about the majestic birds you brought with you and being able to holding the Owl was a magical experience.
Thank you Danny Joyce and Alex Aggas for helping to capturing the entire day, these photos and short video are just incredible and thank you Alex Colman from Invisible Vegas and Mark Bosley for supplying us with live music. Thanks to all of our adopters for bringing our ex-residents back to see us, it means a great deal to our staff and volunteer dog walkers seeing our rescues happy in their new lives with their loving owners. Thanks very much to our staff for taking such good care of our animals and for being so helpful to everyone on the day, particularly those of you who came in on your day off. You are an inspiration to us all. Thank you very much for your unwavering support over the years and we look forward to seeing you again next year.
