Our very special Annual Bingo Night + Quiz night took place at 19:00, 10th December at the Steventon Village Hall. We would like to thank everyone who attended the evening and to those of you who purchased raffle tickets.
Bingo + Quiz Night
The bingo raised a record £936. We sold 72 tickets in advance and 67 people attended. There were around 8 no-shows who did not pay in advance due to the lateness of their bookings. Next year we plan to have more than 80 places as the venue at the Steventon Village Hall can cater for more.
Raffle Draw
This raised a record £2200, with special thanks to Kaye Chappell for yet again selling so many tickets, sourcing prizes and preparing them so beautifully for the draw. She will say that it was a team effort, which it was, but everyone would agree she excelled herself this year. Mandy and Laura also deserve a mention for selling lots of tickets for us.
Special Mentions
Thanks to all the admins, Chris and Nick Markiw, Elaine Charman and Amy Hall for helping, and of course Iain for running the quiz and helping with the bingo. Kevin deserves a special mention for his talents as bingo caller. It was also particularly good to see some sanctuary staff attending the event. We are already thinking about having more quiz and less bingo next year as the quiz was very well received.

Fundraising with us is a great way to meet like-minded individuals with a passion for caring for the most neglected, abandoned and vulnerable animals in Oxfordshire alongside our work to educate and improve animal welfare.
