Oxfordshire Animal Sanctuary is pleased to be starting a new partnership with Stadhampton Primary School as part of our ongoing focus on education and community engagement.
Members of the OAS team recently visited the school to introduce our work and talk to pupils about animal welfare, rescue, and responsible pet ownership. It was a great opportunity to begin a conversation about the needs of animals and the importance of making thoughtful, lifelong commitments when bringing a pet into the home.
This partnership will develop over the coming year, and we’re looking forward to exploring ways to involve the school in learning more about animal welfare and the work we do at the sanctuary.
As the relationship grows, we hope to share occasional updates on activities and insights from the project, offering a glimpse into how young people are engaging with these important topics.
This is an exciting first step, and we look forward to seeing how the partnership evolves.
