On Sunday 21st May we are hoping to get a team of local animals lovers working together to help repaint our Witney charity shop.
If you live in or around Witney, please come a spare a few hours to help us paint our shop. Please email chris@oascharity.org.uk for more information.
As part of our 50th Anniversary we are looking to refurbish our Witney shop starting with a repaint. Last week we approached Brewers Paint Suppliers in Cowley and they very generously donated to OAS a large amount of paints, varnishes, rollers and brushes. Now we are seeking a number volunteers to join us on Sunday 21st May to move things around and help us paint the walls.
We are hoping to find a skilled painter to help lead the team, help provide stepladders and rags so we don’t leave our shop with paint speckled carpets. We would also like to find someone with good carpentry skills willing to help us make some custom shelving, tables and clothing rails. [Please tag in any animal loving carpentry friends you have.] We hope that by creating a new clean layout we will be able to display our items in a way that makes it easier to see what we have available when you next pop in looking for a bargain.
Over the last 25 years our Charity shops have helped to provide OAS with the funding they need to provide food, shelter and medical care to our animals. We are extremely grateful to those of you who donate your quality unwanted items and to everyone who loves to rummage through our Charity shops.
Please email chris@oascharity.org.uk to sign up and help.
