Dear shop customers,
As the lockdown eases, we are preparing for the changes needed to re-open our shops.
The great news is that on the 15th of June 2020 we will re-open our Witney and Summertown shops with Didcot and Carterton following at a later date.
We are looking forward to the return of our customers and your donations. We expect you may have much more than usual with most of us having a declutter during lockdown. As always we are very grateful for your continued support, especially during this difficult time.
We have been given guidance to follow and have tailored this to each of our shops, to ensure our staff and customers remain safe. Some of this guidance will naturally have an impact on how we now operate.
For donations, please contact your nearest OAS shop and ask what we can accept and when we can take your donations. This will minimise the trips you make to donate and avoid any disappointment if we can’t take your items.
New opening hours are here: https://oxfordshireanimalsanctuary.org.uk/contact/

As it stands we must keep donated stock in quarantine for a period of 72 hours before we can process it, and put items on sale.
This will obviously impact on space within our shops and affect our donation limitations and opening times.
We urge you not to leave any donations outside our shops at any time. It is classed as fly tipping and unless we report it to the relevant councils we may be charged for its removal.
We ask that you support us by not visiting if you have any symptoms of COVID-19 and that you use hand sanitiser provided in each shop before handling our stock. This will help minimise the spread of the virus.
Our contactless limit is now £45 and we advise that you use contactless when possible, although cash is accepted.
We appreciate that recent events have created a big change for us all and while we need to adhere to government guidelines, we are very much looking forward to seeing you all very soon, even at a social distance!
