Adoption Update – April 2024

I hope you had a fantastic Easter, filled with plenty of chocolate treats! 🐣🍫

March was a particularly heartwarming month for us, as 57 of our beloved animals found their forever homes, thanks to the kindness of our amazing adopters and the donors and supporters that enable us to do the work we love for these incredible animals.

Rabbits are in the spotlight this month thanks to the great work done by our dedicated rabbit team during the first three months of the year.

Our bunny bonding efforts paid off splendidly, starting with Glenn and Charlie, who found their home together after a successful bonding on-site. Honey and Smokey, another bonded pair, are now living happily ever after, thanks to our rabbit experts.

Ailis & Bobby’s match was a true milestone, as Ailis had been quite selective before finding her match in Bobby. Teekie & Rabbatouille’s successful pairing was another highlight. Our rabbit team deserves immense gratitude for their tireless dedication to these delicate bonding processes. 🐰❤️

Furry McFluffer-Nutter, who has since been renamed Patch, was another success story, finding a home where she could be bonded with a new friend. Her new name certainly makes calling her to dinner a little bit easier!

Our cat adoptions were also massive this March. We rehomed several cats from multi-cat households, including pairs like Oscar & Nigel and individuals like Brock and Fern. Elderly cats found love too, with Minstrel, a 10-year-old, and Rascal, at 14, settling into their new homes. Many more, including names like Padfoot, Pixie, and Dibble, have started their luxurious lives in their new abodes. 🐱🏡

In the canine corner, Shane, a 5-month-old pup, was the first to find his home in March. He was soon followed by other young dogs like Moose, Shadow, and Kade. Our senior Jack Russell, 13-year-old Jack, found his place beyond Oxfordshire, and 9-year-old Ivy is now relishing in the tranquillity of her new environment. Other happy tails include Tosia, also 9, Lilly the French bulldog, and Willow, a 1-year-old Cavapoo.🐶💖

A huge thank you goes out to our animal care team, our vets, our donors and of course, all the wonderful people who chose to adopt. Your generosity and love make all the difference. 🐾❤️
