Today the lives of these four little kittens chang

Today the lives of these four little kittens changed for the better ❤️

Imagine being six weeks old and being dumped in a bin bag wondering what was going to happen.😭

Thankfully, a kind member of the public found them and handed them to the team Medivet in Carterton. 🥰

It is safe to say that they have been traumatised by recent events and they are now safely with one of our dedicated foster carers who are working hard to gain their trust. ❤️

Sadly, this case is becoming more and more common. We are receiving daily calls asking for help from people who have found litters of kittens. 😩

This needs to stop and we need people to neuter their cats. Rescue centres like ours are full and with lengthy waiting lists. People are breeding them faster than we can save them. 😭

Please spread the word to friends and family and urge those with unneutered animals to get them neutered!!

Please meet 14-year-old Kora ❤️

Kora arrived at the sanctuary after her human companion was no longer able to care for her. 😢

She has found the process a little stressful but it’s been lovely to see her personality grow. 🥰

She’s great in so many ways. Whilst she may come across as a little shy at first, once she has made that bond with you, it’s at that point that you see her adorable nature. 💖

A recent blood test showed that Kora has Hyperthyroidism which is currently being treated with medication. 💊

Once stable she may be a candidate for a thyroidectomy. This is a pre-diagnosed condition so it will not be covered by insurance.

Kora is looking for the following type of home 🏠
🐈 Can live with children aged 14+
🐈 Cannot live with other cats
🐈 Cannot live with a dog
🐈 Needs outdoor access

Two-year-old Sabine arrived at the sanctuary along with her kittens having been found in a local park in a box. 😢

Despite it being quite an ordeal, we are pleased to say that she has settled in really well. ❤️

Her kittens have since flown the nest and she is now ready to find a home to call her own. 🙏

She’s an independent lady who loves to sit in her bed and watch the world go by. She enjoys socialising time as she’s quickly learnt that means it’s Dreamie time!! 😍

Sabine would make a great addition to someone who enjoys the companionship of a feline friend. 🐾
