Your Support in Action at Oxfordshire Animal Sanctuary

At Oxfordshire Animal Sanctuary, we are proud to report that thanks to the kindness and generosity of supporters like you, we are rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming more animals than ever before. Your contributions have directly enabled us to open our doors wider and extend our helping hands further.

Record-Breaking Intake Numbers

This past year has seen a heartening increase in our admissions, with cat intakes up by an astonishing 110%, dog admissions by 87%, and rabbit admissions by 9%. Your generosity has allowed us to open our doors to 75% more animals overall. These figures are more than numbers—they represent precious lives that are now safe and cared for within our sanctuary.

Soaring Adoption Success

Our adoption rates have been soaring, too, with an 80% increase in cats finding their new homes, a 53% increase for dogs, and a 3% increase for rabbits. Across all three species, we’ve found fur-ever families for 53% more animals than last year. It’s inspiring to see more of our beloved residents embarking on new, loving adventures with families who will cherish them.

Managing Increased Veterinary Expenses

In line with these efforts, we must also acknowledge that our veterinary bills have risen by 39%. This surge is a direct reflection of our commitment to the health and well-being of our animals, ensuring they receive the necessary medical care to thrive, but also a testament to our dedicated staff and vets to ensure they have not risen in line with the number of animals we’re helping.

A Thank You to Our Community

As we look forward to another year, we are filled with gratitude for your unwavering support. It’s your generosity that fuels our day-to-day operations and creates life-changing outcomes for our animals. We are working tirelessly to maintain this momentum and promise to continue making the most of every donation received.

Thank you for being a part of our community and for believing in our cause. Together, we are making a substantial difference in the lives of animals in Oxfordshire.

Here’s to more rescues, more recoveries, and more happy tails wagging their way into loving forever homes!
