July was an incredibly heartwarming month here at the Sanctuary, both in terms of the scorching temperatures and the outpouring of love for our adorable animals.
With the exceptional efforts of our brilliant staff, we were able to find forever homes for a remarkable total of 35 animals!
Among the heartening success stories were our feline friends, as cats and kittens seemed to find their purr-fect matches in abundance.
It all began with Lilly, who was the first to bid farewell to our cattery, embarking on her exciting new journey. Following her lead, a bunch of playful kittens quickly followed suit, now likely causing delightful chaos as they climb up curtains and probably their owners’ legs too!
And then there were Poppy and Daisy, two 15-year-old cats, who found their way into a loving home, proving that age is no barrier when it comes to companionship.
Let’s not forget about our adorable bunny duo, Gus and Hector, who remained inseparable even in their new surroundings. And sweet Noah, the rabbit, discovered his perfect match in Beetlejuice, hopping into a life filled with love and happiness. Oh, and how could we not mention the charming duo, Buddy and Bambi? They found their forever home together, which just melts our hearts!
One of the most touching moments was witnessing the heartwarming connection between Missy, the 9-year-old Staffy, and her loving adopter. Their bond was truly magical, and we couldn’t be happier for them. And then there’s Chloe, the lively Lurcher, who is now leaping for joy as she has finally found her forever home.
And of course, we mustn’t overlook our precious Cookie, the Cocker Spaniel, who was one of the last to find a loving home in July. We’re delighted to say that all is looking bright for him!
None of this would have been possible without the dedicated and tireless efforts of our amazing staff at OAS. Their love and care for these animals shine through in every success story. We are also incredibly grateful to the adopters, for opening their hearts and homes to our little ones. Your compassion has made a world of difference in these animals’ lives, and we couldn’t be more thankful.
