Irresistible beauty Ziah has bounced into the sanctuary care with real pizzazz. ❤️

Ziah has had an unsettled life so far, being passed around from home to home. Now is her time to find her forever abode, a home where she doesn't have to worry that she will be moved on again.

She's a nosey, sassy and sometimes silly character who thrives on affection and being in a home environment. She's super affectionate with her people and enjoys spending time having siestas in the sun.

Ziah is looking for the following type of home 🏡
✅️A private secure garden with a minimum of 5 ft fencing.
✅️ A pet-free home
✅️ Ziah can live with teenagers aged 14 +

Jed arrived in our care from Eastcott Vets as a stray, after he was found by a kind member of the public. Jed has found the move a little stressful but is slowly settling in. 🙏

Being a stray we have limited information on this handsome lad, so we can only go by our observations in the cattery. Jed is a little wary of people until he gets to know you. 🥰

He is what we class as an in-betweener, we believe he has had human contact in the past as he doesn’t act feral but equally, he isn’t completely comfortable being touched or at least not yet. 😔

We are hopeful that in the right environment and with experienced human companions Jed will be able to settle in a home environment but he will need lots of time and patience. ❤️

Please only apply if you can give Jed the home and love he needs to flourish. 🙏

We have estimated him to be around 7 years old. 🐈

This morning we had a small breed dog handed in after being found near the B480 Stadhampton heading towards Oxford.

Sadly, the dog is microchipped but the chip isn’t registered so we are unable to contact their human companion.

We need your help to find Mittens & Panda their forever home! Please share 🙏❤️

Mittens & Panda arrived at the sanctuary after their human companion’s circumstances changed. Sadly, whilst it was an incredibly difficult decision to make it was the best decision for all involved. 💔

Panda is very affectionate and loves nothing more than spending time with his human caregivers. He will instantly get up to greet you and rub against your legs. 😍

Mittens has completely come out of his shell and it’s been lovely to watch his personality shine through as each day passes! He’s a snuggle kitty and adores human attention! 🥰

Panda had a Perineal Urethrostomy a few years ago. He has been living normally since this surgery, but our vets advise that he could be susceptible to occasional flare-ups of Cystitis, which may need antibiotics from time to time. He will need to be supported with a urinary diet as well as urinary supplements. 💊

The estimated monthly cost including supplements and food for both boys would be £52

Why can't your animals live with other animals? Th

Why can't your animals live with other animals? This is something we get asked an awful lot! 🙈

The simple answer is that some can and some would benefit from another fur companion in the home. Equally, many don't want to share the love of their human companion. 🐈🐶

Did you know that well over 40% of the animals in our care come in for having issues with other companion animals in the home? 😳

So much work goes on behind the scenes before placing an animal on our website. They have all been assessed by our dedicated team of animal carers who know exactly the kind of home they need. 😻

Equally, before making this decision we will also bear in mind the reason they came into our care. If the animal has come into our care because of conflict with a companion animal, would it be sensible to rehome them again to a home with animals? The simple answer is no, this would be irresponsible of us and we are consequently setting that animal up to fail. Resulting in them either being returned or having a life of misery. Would you want to live with someone you don't like? 😔

Our lives would be so much easier if every animal could live with other animals but alas they are individuals just like we are and they have their likes and dislikes. 💖

We see so many cats, in particular, come in from multi-cat households where they have been so stressed that they are over-grooming or in extreme cases self-mutilating, some come in completely shut down due to them not wanting to live with other cats. To see the staggering change in their personality within a few days is unbelievable and it’s not until you see this, that you will have a true understanding of the rehoming process. 🐈🐶

We will always do right by the animals in our care despite how much rescues get criticised for it. We have a duty of care to these animals to ensure their next home is their forever home. 💖

If you are looking for a companion animal to live with your animals, then please keep an eye on our website. Those who can live with other animals rarely stay on there for long. 😍

Sadly, earlier this week we had to say a sad goodbye to Lady Purr Purr 💔

Unfortunately, her health declined over recent days so we took her to see our friends at The Hart Veterinary Centre in Bicester & Aylesbury for further investigations. Sadly, this showed that she had a tumour in her nasal cavity. 😔

Sadly, whilst we will always go above and beyond to help save the animals in our care, the kindest gift of all was to help her across to Rainbow Bridge. 🌈

This dainty lady was just adorable. All she wanted was to be loved and given plenty of cuddles. ❤️

She came into our care after she was handed into a vet in London as a stray. She then spent a few days with Little Paws - Helping Stray Cats before joining the OAS family. 💖

We are all devastated that we couldn't give her what we aim to do for all of our animals and that was finding her a forever home. But we are grateful that she was off of the streets and finally felt loved. 😻

We will miss seeing your little face in the cattery, you had that irresistible face that no one could just walk by without saying hello.

Thirteen-year-old Betsy & eleven-year-old Ruby arrived at the sanctuary after their human companion sadly passed away. 💔

Understandably, they have found the transition to the cattery quite overwhelming. 😢

Both the girls can be a little bit shy at first to those they don’t know. But in the few weeks they have been in our care, they have made great progress. 🥰

Both enjoy their time when socialising with their human caregivers and once they have made that bond with you then you will see their true personalities. 💖

Betsy & Ruby came into our care on a Gastrointestinal diet. We have been told that Betsy has IBD so this specialised diet will need to be ongoing in their new home. 🐈

Please meet our latest arrival 💖

This is Honey she's 4 years old and came in yesterday along with her two feline companions Bea & Nugget. 😻

To say that they are super adorable would be an understatement. Bea & Nugget will be going up for adoption very soon. 💖

Honey on the other hand is heavily pregnant so she will be heading off to one of our dedicated foster homes where she can rear her little kittens. 🥰
