Bella and Her Family

We are so grateful that adopters are able to look past the fears and insecurities that some of our rescue dogs display.

Bella was very nervous when she arrived at the Sanctuary but now in her home she is a happy, carefree dog with love filling her mind, body and soul.

“My daughter Luci and I were very lucky to get Bella on the 14th February 2015 and I hope that we get many more years with the old lady. Not that you would believe how old she is, nearly 12 we believe. When we first got Bella she was scared of the world at large. We had to carry her to the park to have a walk. She found all the traffic and noise scary. Now she takes on the world, especially bigger dogs. Lol. Can’t imagine life without her in it taking up rather a lot of my bed for a little dog. Has three beds in the house plus blankets on both sofas but still steals my bed but wouldn’t change her for anything.

Keep up the brilliant work OAS.”

Ellen, Luci and Bella.

We hope to find a home for all our rescues just like Bella managed to do. Please open your heart and home to an OAS rescue, they have just as much life to live and love to give as some of our more confident rescues. They just need the opportunity.
