Adoption Update – April 2021

We hope you’re well and enjoying the release of restrictions further as life returns to normal.

The great news is that our furry friends at the Sanctuary continue to be well looked after and our ongoing care and search for forever families is still going incredibly well, thanks to your generosity!

Among the dogs adopted this month were Ace the adorable French Bulldog and Baxter, a sprightly crossbreed.

Fewer cats came into our care in April, but we have taken in greater numbers of rabbits over the past couple of months. Many of these rabbits are indoor only, so we have been able to use some of the warmer rooms in our cattery to cater for their specific needs.

One of the cats rehomed is called Toby.

Toby was extremely scared when he first came into our care, so much so, that staff and vets couldn’t handle him safely. After some very gentle and slow techniques by our dedicated staff, they earned his trust.

He was able to get the care he needed and is now in a home with someone aware of how much time and patience is needed with him. The early signs are very encouraging. Well done Toby.

Thanks to all our donors and supporters for helping us to help animals like Toby and the others.
