Adoption Update – May 2023

Our team had a fantastic month in April, successfully rehoming a whopping total of 55 animals.

Among them were the dogs: Barry, Fern, Cookie, Martha, Alfie, Lulu, Max, Harper, Trixie, Vincent, Toby, and Shirley, all of whom found loving homes.

For all the bunny lovers out there, Apollo and Elara, two bunnies who had been with us for a while, finally found their forever families. Winter, Fudge, Roza and Casey all left the Sanctuary with a spring in their step too. But lets not forget the Fab Four; John, Paul, George and Ringo are also in their new digs, although they’ve since gone their separate ways, we’re grateful to Yoko for helping them to form separate bands!

Havana’s kittens, Fred and Daphne, as well as Sherlock and Mycroft, were rehomed in pairs, keeping the siblings together is always great for our furry friends.

We’re delighted to report that many more cats are now living their best lives (also scratching furniture to their heart’s content!) including Alvin, Lily, Simon, Mildred, Nina, Theodore, Smokey, Checkers, Sparrow, Mary, Tim, Buffy, Willow, Chester, Roxy, Kiki, Charlie, Storm, Star, Aero, Twirl, Teasel, Weasel, and Emmy.

The success of our rehoming efforts in April would not have been possible without the dedication and exceptional hard work of our staff. We’re also incredibly grateful to our adopters, who have opened their hearts and homes to these furry little ones. It takes a special kind of person to give a second chance to an animal in need, and we’re thrilled to see that there are so many kind-hearted individuals out there who are willing to do just that.

While we’re always sad to see our beloved animals go, we take comfort in knowing that they are going to loving homes where they will receive the care and attention they need to thrive. We wish them all the best and hope that they will bring as much joy to their new families as they have brought to ours.
