Adoption Update – November 2022

November was another typically busy month for comings and goings at the Sanctuary.

We admitted lots of giant continental rabbits during one day and they’ve all now been neutered so are on the road towards being made available for adoption.

Several new dogs have arrived and are being assessed prior to being made available for adoption as well.

And as ever, there’s no shortage of cats needing space in our cattery.

In total, 32 animals are now getting settled into their new homes. Some of them are pictured here and include Boo, a lovely Dachshund puppy who has been renamed Oslo.

Blue, a gorgeous staffy is also having the time of his life in a new home.

Marmalade, a ginger cat who came to us in a dreadful condition, with hardly any fur left on his body, now has his fur back and is a very happy chappy!

Daphne and Drax, a pair of rabbits who were bonded by our brilliant rabbit team, went home after being here for much longer than we wanted. Having said that, they enjoyed the bunnymoon suite during their time here. This is one of the biggest enclosures we have so they had lots of space while they were waiting for the right people to adopt them.

Bella, a 15-year-old Jack Russell with ongoing health issues has finally gone home after months of treatment by our vets and daily care and rehabilitation by the dog team.

Bug, renamed Buddy, who is a 5-month-old Border Terrier crossbreed is also settling in nicely to his new home and seems to be enjoying life in a quaint little village in Oxfordshire!

Lots of other beautiful animals have also been adopted this month and as always, our thanks go to everyone who has adopted from us and for transforming the lives of these little ones.

And thanks to you all for supporting us so that we can continue to do this each and every day. We are forever grateful.
