These adorable 10-week-old kittens arrived in our care along with their older sister Jennifer. 🥰

As we are sure you’ll agree they are utterly adorable and are so happy to be cuddled and fussed. 😍

They have oodles of fun with their toys and are your typical happy-go-lucky kittens. 😻

We are looking to rehome these two together and would equally consider applications for all three if a special adopter were to come forward. But this isn't essential.

Jennifer Update 💔

Firstly, thank you so much to everyone who sent positive vibes and donations for Jennifer. It really was very much appreciated.

Sadly, Jennifer has lost all of her kittens. She underwent surgery this afternoon to remove the kits. She was spayed at the same time so to ensure she never has to go through this awful ordeal ever again. 💔

Whilst it's incredibly sad that Jennifer lost her kittens, being only a kitten herself posed so many risks had she carried them full term. Her little body wasn't ready to be a mother. 😭

We are so grateful to the team at The Hart Veterinary Centre in Bicester & Aylesbury for looking after her and ensuring she was safe. 💗

The most important part of all of this is that Jennifer is ok and once she has recovered from this awful situation we will then look at finding her a forever home where she can be pampered and live her best life. ❤️

Today is all about Haze ❤️

Shortly Kat & Laura will be heading off to The Ralph to take Haze for her appointment. 🙏

As many of you will remember from previous posts, Haze has a Liver Shunt. Sadly, this has caused her to have seizures in the past caused by the toxins that have built up due to her liver not working correctly. 😢

Whilst the surgery is considered risky, leaving her without further veterinary intervention isn't an option and her health would deteriorate. 💔

Haze needs everyone to remain positive for her for the next two or three days! 🙏

We have everything crossed for you Haze! You're such a special little kitty and you deserve to live your best life. Just one more hurdle to get over little one and then you will be back in your loving home with your wonderful family. 🙏❤️

Imagine being 6 months old, that's the equivalent

Imagine being 6 months old, that's the equivalent of a 10-year-old child and being pregnant. 😭

Jennifer arrived in our care yesterday heavily pregnant. Earlier today she started spotting blood and so we took her over to our friends at The Hart Veterinary Centre in Bicester & Aylesbury where our fears were confirmed. 💔

She is pregnant, a kitten having kittens! The whole situation is heartbreaking and had she not been handed in to ensure she gets the care she needs then this could have potentially been life-threatening for this little sweetheart. 😭

Jennifer will be staying at Hart Vets this evening to be monitored overnight. We know she is in the very best of hands. 🙏

Please send your positive vibes for this little lady this evening as she needs all the help she can get. ❤️

🚨 Please help us to stop this cat crisis 🚨

So far this year we have seen a staggering 56% increase in cats needing our help. 💔

The situation doesn’t seem to be getting any better as the weeks go by, in fact, it seems to be getting worse. Each day we take anything from 5-10 calls per day from people in various situations needing our help. 😭

This week alone we have added 18 cats or kittens to our waiting list bringing our list up to a staggering 63 cats or kittens. 💔

Not only that but we are seeing a massive increase in pregnant cats or litters of kittens with or without mum. So far this year we have taken in 21 pregnant cats. We normally see around 5-8 per year. ☹️

21 pregnant cats may not seem a lot but when you consider that each cat on average gives birth to 4 kittens… that’s an awful lot of mouths to feed. Our kitten intake has risen by a staggering 165% compared to last year. 😳

This week alone we have taken in two pregnant stray cats 🐈‍⬛

Rescue centres are full so consequently people are advertising animals on social media or online. This is not a safe option. People are abandoning their animals so they are then left to fend for themselves. ☹️

We need owners to take responsibility and get their animals neutered!! Yes, vet fees have increased but some charities will help towards neutering. Allowing animals to constantly keep producing is not acceptable and we need you to take action.

Rescues are on their knees, donations have slowed down but the cost of looking after the animals including vet treatment has rocketed.

Without owners taking action then this problem we are facing now will be 100 times worse in a few months when all these kittens start giving birth to kittens.
