Hart Vets Helps Care for our Sanctuary Rescues

Thanks to all the staff at Hart Vets for their continued support for our animals.

Our demands are always high and they always deliver a first class and compassionate service. They are an integral part of our team, helping us care for and re-home over 500 animals a year.

The Oxfordshire Animal Sanctuary exists to provide a refuge for dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs who have been mistreated, neglected, abandoned, are unwanted and for those whose owners are no longer able to care for their pets. Typically, we care for around 130 animals daily and rehome over 500 each year.

Some animals arrive at the Sanctuary sick and in need of urgent treatment. It is times like these when we are extremely grateful to have the support of Harts Vets. Most of our animals are able to be treated onsite but sometime new arrivals need to stay with Hart Vets at their clinic in Bicester for closer monitoring. Once given the right medication and with a bit of time many of our residents are soon back to health and ready to find their loving forever home.

We aim to match our animals with suitable adopters so the next home is their forever home. Where this is not possible, due to behavioral issues for example, the Sanctuary is their home and our staff and volunteers give them as close to a pet’s life as is possible. They are our sponsor animals.

We care for 130+ animals daily. We accept all animals if we have capacity. Your donation helps us keep this promise: DONATE HERE
