Last week the three amigos were found by a kind-hearted member of the public. Thankfully, they were handed over to Molesey Veterinary Centre who asked our friends at One Bun At A Time - Registered Charity No: 1191439 to help find a rescue placement.

We are absolutely thrilled to welcome these adorable ladies to our sanctuary! To celebrate their arrival, we’ve named them after three amazing team members from One Bun at a Time! ❤️

Well, Storm Darragh has certainly announced its arrival this morning 🌨️ 💨

It’s not very nice out there this morning. All of our dogs have made the wise decision that they won't be going out today, instead, they will have endless cuddles, lots of entertainment and indoor fun! ❤️

Our cats have decided that they will be staying in bed…no change there I hear you all say! 🤣

Our rabbits will be spending the day protected from the elements whilst foraging for all the goodies hidden around their enclosures. 💖

❤️ Forever Home Friday ❤️

Just another update for OAS and Pippa’s foster parent. 😻

Pippa has settled into a daily routine. We have kept her breakfast time at 8am, so when we wake she will come and say good morning in our rooms, checking on both the girls too. Then she will follow me downstairs for her breakfast. As you said, she does like her food! Made the mistake of giving her too much kibble one day; she scoffed the lot and promptly threw it back up 😂

During the day, she chooses from one of the 4 human beds we have to lounge on, and if that doesn’t suit her fancy she can be found under one of two beds. She has also started to leap onto the window sills to watch birds at the back, or the road from the front. 🥰

She then comes alive between 4-9pm, where she may practice some stair zoomies, play with the cat tickler (she dragged the whole thing including the rod upstairs last night), or indulge in some air biscuits whilst we are stroking her face. 💖

Thank you for the quick reply to our adoption request, leading to the adoption of this beautiful, gentle soul. 🥰

Opus arrived in our care at the grand age of 19 ye

Opus arrived in our care at the grand age of 19 years old 💔

Sadly, she has the saddest story to tell after her much-loved companion sadly passed away. 🥺

With no family able to take her in, she arrived at the sanctuary along with several familiar items from her home. One of which was her little blue mat. 💙

When arranging for animals to come in, we always ask for their family to bring items in from the home to help them settle and Opus has shown us why this is so important! 🥺

Opus spends all of her time curled up on her little blue mat. It’s clear that this brings this little sweetheart a lot of comfort. ❤️

This dainty lady will be going for a blood test next week before she goes up for adoption. Where we hope we can find her the forever home she deserves! 🙏🙏
